La Rose 2013, Hauchat
The Greedy Loft
The high plateau of Saint-Aignan is one of the most qualitative corners of the Fronsac appellation. The vineyard of Château Hauchat la Rose is facing south, southwest, facing Pomerol. This situation ensures ideal sunshine and perfect drainage. The particularity of its terroir lies in its extreme homogeneity. The soil is clay-limestone with asterias. The Hauchat property was taken over in 1973 by the Saby family from the beautiful family of Jean Saby's sister.
This wine is a great classic in Bordeaux. A nice acidity, soft and concentrated tannins. The Château Hauchat La Rose was rewarded several times.
Generally, the wines of the Libournais are deep ruby with purple relfet.
Roundness and power, these red wines are served young, with a seductive and full-bodied bouquet.
The red and black fruits are very present with notes of wood and vanilla with aging more or less long in barrels.
