Côte Du Rhône Villages Sablet Rouge 2016, Des Pasquiers
The Greedy Loft
This wine comes from a majority of Grenache for the fruit, to which are added the spices of Syrah and the depth of Mourvèdre. After the harvest, each vine is carefully vinified separately to be assembled later. The wine is aged in concrete tank.
A ruby color for a nose fond of black berries, with notes of woods. The palate is frank, the tannins are round, the fruit bursts, then sweet spices and liquorice arrive at the long-tasting palate. Good chewy texture, with black fruits, spices and baked fruits, well-rounded.
This wine has Gold Medal in Mâcon and in Vinsobres.
To drink since now chambered, or to keep for the next 5 years.
