At Château Rozier the harvest begins on September 18th with the Merlot grapes and ends on September 29 with the Cabernet Franc. All grapes are harvested by hand in small baskets and fermented in the traditional way. To maturity, the wine comes for about 15 months in one-third new, one and two-year oak barrels.
Soft and powerful with a lot of aromatic fullness, fruit and freshness on the palate, fleshy, full-bodied, with excellent structure of densely knotted and at the same time silky tannins, a wine full of elegance and finesse into a long-lasting finale. A very delicate wine, refined, round and elegant. Perfect match for a meat filet.
